Four rules

  1. Name the access date. Polling is continuous; a figure is a reading, not a constant.
  2. Carry n and the margin of error printed beside the figure.
  3. Do not attribute a national figure to DataRadio unless that nation is published — below 100 responses no national figure exists.
  4. Say whether a figure is weighted. Unweighted tallies are labelled on the page and must stay labelled in the quotation.
