How to cite DataRadio
Polling here is continuous, so a figure is a reading taken on a date — not a constant. Citations that drop the date are not reproducible.
Do not cite these figures yet
99.9% of the current corpus (5,211 of 5,213 respondents) is generated seed data, counted in every published figure. A citation taken today would be a citation of a model, not of a population. See about for what was generated and why. This notice is removed automatically once the seed is retired.
Four rules
- Name the access date. Polling is continuous; a figure is a reading, not a constant.
- Carry n and the margin of error printed beside the figure.
- Do not attribute a national figure to DataRadio unless that nation is published — below 100 responses no national figure exists.
- Say whether a figure is weighted. Unweighted tallies are labelled on the page and must stay labelled in the quotation.

State of the data, right now
5,232 respondents · 257,390 answers · 139 nations · last calibration 02 Aug 2026. “Respondents” counts people who have answered at least one question, not visitors.
Figures may be reproduced with attribution and the stated n, margin of error and access date.
